How I Work

Research, verification, and SEO at source.
The research layer
most podcast workflows
leave until later.

Most services start after the transcript exists. I work before the recording, building the brief, verifying the claims and embedding the search architecture that shapes the episode from the start.

Who this is for

You are already making
good content. This makes it defensible.

THE INSIGHT SOURCE is for podcasters who want research-backed episodes that hold up to scrutiny, to search, and over time.

Licensed Practitioners

You carry professional liability into every episode you record.

Functional medicine doctors, psychologists, dietitians, sports medicine practitioners. What you say on air carries the same professional weight as advice given in a clinical setting. One claim you cannot source, amplified to thousands of listeners, is a risk you cannot walk back. The Credibility Shield means every factual claim in your research brief is traced to a verifiable source before you record. Not fixed after. Before.

Risk mitigation · Compliance-grade sourcing · Pre-recording
Established Shows

You have built an audience. Now you need reach that compounds.

Shows with 1,000–50,000 listeners who publish consistently and want growth to stop being accidental. The audience exists. The SEO opportunity was there at every episode you recorded — but the keyword architecture was not embedded before you spoke. That is the gap. I build the search infrastructure into the research brief so your content finds people who have not discovered you yet, not just people who already have.

SEO at source · Growth that compounds · Long-tail discovery
Solo Hosts

You know what you want to say. You need the infrastructure to say it well.

Time-poor solo hosts with strong instincts but no research team behind them. You sit down with an idea and record on instinct. The instinct is good. But the research brief you never had would have changed what you said, how you said it, and what search engines can do with it afterward. I build that infrastructure for you — so every recording session begins with exactly what you need to make it the episode it should be.

The Process

Two phases.
One is before you ever hit record.

Most podcast production services optimize after the recording. I add the phase before it: the research, verification and SEO architecture that shape what gets said in the first place.

Phase 1 · Pre-Recording

Before the microphone is on.

This is where most production stacks have nothing. This is where I start.

01
Research brief built — market trends, expert perspectives, current data, curated sources, and key findings assembled around your episode topic.
02
Claims verified — every factual claim traced to a primary source. What can be sourced is documented. What cannot is flagged before you say it.
03
SEO architecture embedded — primary keyword, 5–7 secondary terms, long-tail opportunities. Written into the brief so you speak them naturally — not bolted onto show notes afterward.
04
Speaking framework delivered — talking points, transitions, hooks, segment timing. You sit down knowing exactly what you are going to say and why it holds up.
Tiers 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 · Once your slot opens: 2–3 days after the topic brief
Phase 2 · Post-Recording

After the transcript exists.

Everything your audience consumes that is not the episode itself — built from the foundation Phase 1 created.

05
Full transcript + SEO show notes — timestamped, speaker-labelled, platform-ready. Not generic — built from the keyword architecture in the research brief.
06
Blog post — 1,200–1,500 words, publish-ready, structured for long-form search: an article built to rank and earn backlinks on its own terms.
07
30-day content calendar — LinkedIn posts, short-form clip scripts, email sequences, carousel frameworks, X threads. The episode becomes a month of content.
08
Platform descriptions — Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube descriptions written for each platform's algorithm and audience, not copied between them.
Tiers 3 + 4 · Once your slot opens: 4–7 days after the audio
The Credibility Shield

Every claim, sourced —
before you ever say it.

Your audience is sharper than ever, and a single unsourced claim is what gets clipped, screenshotted, and used against you. So I don't ask you to trust me. I hand you the receipts. This is verification you can audit.

What you get

Documented backing, in your hands.

Not a promise that I checked. The actual proof, delivered with every brief.

01
Multi-layer verification — every factual claim is checked across layers using advanced AI research tools, then reviewed by a human before anything reaches you. Speed of the machine, judgment of a person.
02
A source tracker you can audit — every claim, its source, and how strong the evidence is. You walk into the recording able to point to exactly where each statement comes from.
03
Evidence, tiered honestly — strong claims stand, weak ones get softened or cut. Nothing gets smoothed over to sound more certain than the research supports. That restraint is what makes the strong claims land.
04
You stay the authority — anything in medical or therapeutic territory is flagged straight to you, with the sourcing attached, so you make the call as the professional — backed, not exposed.
05
Interview shows get a second pass — nobody can fact-check a guest while they are talking, and I will not pretend otherwise. Before you record, guest research tells you which of their claims are thin or funded by the company they work for. After you record, the transcript check catches what was actually said before it reaches your show notes and your clips.

Service Tiers

Four tiers.
All of them start
before you record.

Start with a single episode to see how it works, or lock a monthly slot. Because every brief gets first-hand research and a human fact-check, I take on a limited number of episodes each month. The 2-episode-per-month retainer is a great deal once you like what you see. No minimum commitment to begin.

Retainers are 15% off the per-episode rate, and include a reserved production slot every month, your rate locked for the term, and first call on express turnaround. The slot matters more than the discount: shows rarely go quiet because the host stopped caring, they go quiet because the production work stacked up in one bad month and never got unstacked. Tier 4 retainers are quoted per project.

Optional add-ons

Add exactly what you need.

All add-ons are per-episode and applied to any tier at booking. Buy only the pieces you need, since every Tier 3 component can be added to a Tier 1 or Tier 2 booking. Research, writing and strategy are produced in-house. Design, video and motion are produced with Explainable Media, booked through the same slot.

My show is interviews. Can you fact-check my guests?
Not while they are talking, and I will not pretend otherwise. What I do instead runs on both sides of the recording. Before you record, guest research goes through what they have already said publicly: prior interviews, published claims, who funds the evidence they cite, and where their public version and the documented record do not quite match. That becomes a question list, so you know where to ask for a citation while the mic is still on. After you record, the transcript fact-check goes through what was actually said, attributed per speaker, and flags anything unsupported before it reaches your show notes, your descriptions and your clips. It cannot un-say a sentence. It stops one loose sentence from ending up in twenty places.
Can you fix the episodes I have already published?
Yes, that is a separate service and it runs in two steps. The review is $297 for a block of ten episodes, and you choose which ten — either pick the ones you most want working, or say the last ten. Worth thinking about before you answer: if your strongest evergreen material sits further back and your recent run is time-pegged, the last ten may be the least valuable ten you own. For each episode you get a verdict on the four things that decide whether it is findable: whether the title matches how people actually search, whether the description names the mechanisms, studies and tools discussed or is just filler, whether timestamps and chapters exist, and what search demand the episode misses. You also get the priority order, which episodes are already fine and should be left alone, and one episode fully rewritten as a worked example. Larger archives run in further blocks of ten at $197 each. Then the rewrite is $47 for each episode you decide to fix, and the review fee credits in full against it. Episodes I tell you to leave alone are not billed. Everything the review finds is stated plainly whether or not you buy the rewrite — you are paying for the hours and the craft, not for access to the findings. Two honest limits: it cannot change what is in the episodes, and indexing on edited metadata takes weeks rather than days. Back-catalogue gains compound, they do not spike.
Do I need to provide a transcript to get started?
No. THE INSIGHT SOURCE works before the transcript exists. You provide the episode topic. I deliver a research brief, verified claims, and SEO architecture before you record. Tiers 3 and 4 add post-production deliverables — those require the audio or transcript after you record.
What is the turnaround time?
Because every brief gets first-hand research and a human fact-check, I take on a limited number of episodes each month — you book a slot rather than drop into an anonymous queue. Once your slot opens the turnaround is fast: Tier 1 and 2 in 2–3 business days, Tier 3 in 4–7, Tier 4 in 5–9. Express turnaround — about 50% faster — is available as an add-on to jump ahead. You always know your delivery window before you commit, so a busy week never turns into a missed promise.
Why slots instead of just taking every client?
Because the whole value is first-hand research and a real human fact-check on every claim — and that doesn't scale to an anonymous queue. Taking a set number of episodes a month is what keeps the quality real instead of becoming a content mill. For you it means a delivery window you can count on, booked before you commit. A boutique with a short waitlist beats an agency that overpromises and slips.
I already have a content team. Why would I need this?
Most content teams work from the transcript — which means they start after the research gap already exists. THE INSIGHT SOURCE fills that gap before recording: the research brief, the fact-check pass, and the SEO keyword architecture that tells your team exactly what to build from. It makes every downstream deliverable stronger.
Is this right for a licensed health professional?
Yes — and specifically so. Every factual claim in your episode brief is traced to a verifiable source before you record. The Credibility Shield means you go into every recording with documented backing for what you say. Not a problem to fix after the fact. Before the microphone is on.
How does the free episode audit work?
You share one published episode and a topic you are planning to record next. I assess the research gap, the SEO opportunity, and what pre-recording production would have changed. No commitment. No sales pitch. A direct, honest assessment of what is there and what is missing.
Is this AI-generated? How do I know it's accurate?
It's AI-assisted and human-reviewed. I say so plainly — the source-checking runs deeper and faster because of it. Advanced research tools do the source-checking across multiple layers at a depth and speed no solo researcher matches; a human reviews every flag before it reaches you. The proof is that you get the source tracker with every brief: each claim, its source, and how strong the evidence is. You can audit it. That's more transparent than "we fact-checked it" — and far more than the transcript-first workflows that make verification secondary.
Can I start with one episode before committing?
Yes. Every tier is available per episode. There is no minimum commitment. Retainer pricing is available for consistent publishers — but the first engagement can always be a single episode, and there is no obligation to continue.
